AE Rought's language in this book was spine-chilling. The edge of your seat, suspense building that is typically found in the older, black and white horror movies. And at the end of the first short, I was screaming about the ending, asking myself how the author could do such a thing. Yeah. Don't ask me how I got so hung up on a character in such a short story. But I did. Kudos to Rought, not many authors can achieve that.
