SSS5 Memories

"

I recalled my real mum reading ‘Little Bo Peep’ to me. At least, I think it was a memory. It could be a moment I embellished to hold on to the fact that I did have a mother, once upon a time. In my memory (real or imagined), she smelled of roses and used to tap each page with my toy magic wand before turning a page. Remembering that always made me feel safe. Today was no exception. "

Check out Six Sunday for more Six Sentence snippets!
