Retro Rock Romance

This is my first time taking part in Six Sentence Sunday, which is a fantastic idea, might I just add. Just six sentences, oh boy... it was hard sticking to just six, I wanted to post so much more LOL

My six sentences were taken from my 80's Retro Romance titled 'Rock You Like A Hurricane' -- it's currently being revised for submissions.

"Look lady, I'm official." The bodyguard lifted a bulging arm and scratched his head in puzzlement. He drew his attention to the lanyard holding his Sirenic security pass and cleared his throat. "This isn't a hoax."

"Not to be rude, Mr. Official, but I know what a meet-and-greet means in his language. And since I'm not a piece of meat that needs greeting, I'll pass. Thanks."

  12. Nice! Welcome to Six Sentence Sunday. Perfect start. (Although the idea of the '80s being "retro" kind of twists my brain a bit! Of course, they are. This is just me being a codger.)
