sss9 - I just died in your arms

Happy Sunday, all. It's that time again, time to share six sentences from our works in progress, finished manuscripts or published works. I'm looking forward to seeing which snippets you all picked!
I have selected a snippet from my 80s Rock novella again -- (not yet published) Thanks for al the comments from previous weeks, I truly appreciate all the feedback and honest critiques!

And, I know you're all like really busy with Six Sunday, but I'd really appreciate it if you could spare two seconds to vote for my video that is up for a Covey! Thanks, the voting poll is up on the left hand side of this link and my video is #15

This little scene doesn't need to much lead up to it, I think it explains its self. So, without further a do...

Rock You Like A Hurricane (#1 Sirenic Series)

Ghetto Blaster cue: I Just Died In Your Arms Tonight by Cutting Crew.
