sss9 - I just died in your arms

Happy Sunday, all. It's that time again, time to share six sentences from our works in progress, finished manuscripts or published works. I'm looking forward to seeing which snippets you all picked!
I have selected a snippet from my 80s Rock novella again -- (not yet published) Thanks for al the comments from previous weeks, I truly appreciate all the feedback and honest critiques!
