Unable to control her wonderment that Bram Stoker might have crossed this very path while writing Dracula, she stalled to savor the moment and placed her hand on the 16^th century stone doorframe. Like they do on those late-night paranormal documentaries. Residual energy from her favorite writer didn't mystically hit her, though. Not that she expected it to. Hoped maybe. Instead, salty air from the North Sea filled her nostrils, and overzealous goth music vibrated through the ground and into the soles of her feet.
