Kali and Kate chat about SEAL THE DEAL on radio show BETWEEN MOONLIT COVERS

I love listening to Kali Willows weekly blogtalk radio show Between Moonlit Covers, and was thrilled when my editor guested on the show. I was listening with a keenness, wondering what they may talk about. Imagine my surprise (and delight) to hear a great shout out for Dracula's Kiss and then a wonderful little discussion about my selkies and SEAL THE DEAL Thrilled. I was so thrilled.

SEAL THE DEAL in the RT Mag alongside Rebecca Royce's DRAGON JOINED #PNR

I've been dying to show this graphic off ever since it arrived in my inbox. The lovely and very talented Talina Perkins of Bookin It Designs designed this advert for myself and Rebecca...it appears in the December Romantic Times edition which is the current issue. Isn't it just well lush? I LOVE it! Yes, I have been gazing with stary eyes upon the page it appears in the magazine. I'm such a sap. I'm so proud of this story, and really honored to be alongside a Rebecca Royce book. That girl is one awesome author!

Seal the Deal is now available for purchase. Amazon USA Amazon UK

After being ditched at the altar, Finn Kneale isolates himself at Port St. Mary’s magnificent lighthouse. A violent storm ravishes the coastline, pitching the maritime tower into the Irish sea and transforming Finn into a seal. Carefree at first, he soon longs to walk as a man again. When leap year arrives, bathing land and sea in magic, Finn temporarily regains his human form. If he can’t find his soul mate in twenty-four hours, he’ll be back to cavorting among the waves.

Anne Ward—resident midwife and newcomer to Port St. Mary, Isle of Man—guards some wild secrets of her own while avoiding entanglements with married doctors. A believer in fate, she seeks out

Madame Eve’s exclusive agency to help find her destined mate. 1Night Stand matches these two lonely souls. But will their extraordinary date allow Finn and Anne to open their hearts to magical possibilities and Seal the Deal?

I'm giving away I heart selkie shirts and other book swag/backlist ebooks at the DOUBLE RELEASE FRENZY, a facebook event with myself and Kacey Hammell

#snippetsunday - Not The Best Place To Be - SEAL THE DAY #selkie

And here we are once again...hi! Thanks for stopping my Snippet Sunday post. (Yes, that's my nifty little logo I made for this post - Sixers, feel free to use it in your SS posts. And the banner below.)
Even though we're not Six Sunday anymore, I figured I'd stay within those specs because, well, just because. For this six, I've jumped ahead to when Anne is prepping to meet Finn for the first time. For previous snippets, go here: SNIPPETS

Scents Of Apple Pie & Fresh Bread #sixsunday #samplesunday

Hi fellow Sunday snippet writers and readers...thanks for stopping by my blog this week!

For this weeks six, I jumped ahead a bit from my last snippet (scroll down my blog's home page to find the previous TWO snippets from this manuscript. Finn has now made the change from seal to human, and, well, the rest kinda speaks for its self. I hope you enjoy. FYI still no submission news to share yet so keep those fingers crossed for me ;)

Snippet is pre-edited, so there may be some boo-boos and no-nos.

Minutes later, he arrived at his parent’s stone cottage. Once a home for the lighthouse keeper, it now served as a modest farmhouse. Inside, he expected to find a pitiful fire in the hearth, not quite crackling, with his mother at the table figuring out some jigsaw puzzle while snuggled in a huge, thick sweater. His father with his feet up, enjoying some comedy show on the old television with a tartan blanket over his knees; a typical scene after a long day hauling arse around the farm. He turned the handle, opened the green door, and inched forward. Rich burgundy colors and scents of apple pie and fresh bread greeted him.

Psst: I'm giving away a copy of HOT WINTER KISS over on Cate Master's blog as a part of her Celebrate Amore event. http://catemasters.blogspot.com/2013/02/day-10-celebrate-amore.html

#sixsunday #samplesunday -- Oh, to be admired.

Last week--for the last official Six Sunday post (wah) -- I shared the opening scene from what was a work-in-progress. Seal the Deal, Isle of Man and Selkie book one, is now out on submission with Decadent Publishing (cross ya fingers for me).
I thought I'd carry on from almost where I left of. So...here it is. Finn Kneale is prepping for 'the change' viable due to the energy shift of the Isle and the leap year eclipse.
Don't forget, this is pre-edited. So there may be boo-boos.

Think, Finn, think.
Soft cotton towels against his whiskers, the warm touch of the sun on his shoulders as he worked the farm, tasty homemade soup tangy on his tongue. Soft flesh of a woman beneath him. Oh, to be admired for his manliness rather than his cutesy seal features and bubble blowing talents. Fragmented recollections of the little things was all that had survived years of watching the shoreline.
Tensing, he pulled his attention to how much he needed legs again.. -- Copyright, JoAnne Kenrick - 2013+
